Here are a few other blogs that I follow occasionally, from the elite ‘other-species’ ultra-runners like Anton Krupicka to the mere-mortals with stout hearts and determination like myself, as well as some ‘other-sports’ related writings from friends and colleagues I have met along the way.
Ben's Running Blog
Musings of a midlife crisis - Ben is in a similar situation to mine, family man, career and running to keep fit. He lives in the south of France, has done many races down there and on his travels, and is entered into the 2011 MdS.

The Magic Forest - Jerry S' blog
The trial and tribulations of long distance runner living in deepest, darkest Kent. A man after my own heart, Jerry often has some fun and entertaining entries in his blog.

Ian was the fastest UK finisher in the MdS in 2008 but has been running ultra's since 2005 and was a very impressive 8th in the Western States 100 in 2010.
Ramblings and reports on Jezz's trail running in the UK and further afield. Jez was fourth at the Western States 100 this year (2011) and was only 20 minutes behind Killian Journet the recent winner of the UTMB.
Kilian Jornet is relatively new on the scene but has had a massive impact on the ultrarunning world, the 22 year old Spaniard has won UTMB a couple of times already!
Lisa Howard's Blog
The winner of the women's race at Leadville 2010, Lisa seems a very down to earth type, but also very talented.
Scott Jurek's blog - on and off the trails. Scott Jurek is one of the greatest ultrarunners in existence, one of the characters in 'Born to Run'.
Not just running.... News, events, product information and behind-the-scenes info from Garmin. The global leader in GPS navigation.
