Status Quo
February 29th, 2012 | Comments Off
My days seems to consists of little more than project meetings, working on a presentation for a BPM conference I am going to in April, and exercising at lunchtime.
For example, I had a busy day today and did a couple more slides to the presentation and then punctuated work with a trip to the gym where I ran a bit, did some more physio exercises and some cycling but it was back to the office all too soon and a 1-2-1 with my manager, a project status meeting and a deployment preparation meeting.
The trains have been playing ball recently, so all quiet on that front, and of course even confidence in the economy is improving a little (until Greece have to make a payment on their debts next week, of course).
Savannah’s cold is making an appearance again, but the others have been all ok for the moment and Morgan’s drawing is really progressing (I’ll put some of his sketches in a gallery soon). They are quite excited about a new craze called ‘Skylanders’ which seems to be another excuse to extract money from parents for bits of molded plastic. Ah well!
Still trying to get the Buffalo drive working with the router and Liz’s Apple Mac – Apple very kindly changed the levels of authentication for AFP (Apple File Protocol) connections with OS-X 10.7 (Lion) which is my best guess as to why I am having a problem at the moment.
So, nothing much happening at the moment.
